I really like this steamer. I have another one with collapsible legs and that's exactly what they do when I'm steaming something. It's frustrating. It fits one quart pots up to 5 quart pots so it is versatile

Product appears to be well made. Legs are securely attached, so no issues like other products have.
Central pin has a ring to help lift out with a fork - easy to use. Expands to fit pot size. Tried it with frozen Broccoli and Cauliflower. In just a few minutes the frozen pieces were tender - just right. Super easy way to make good vegies to go with any meal.

We looked at all the steamers on Amazon and selected this on based on the reviews. We were especially concerned that the lifting stem was sufficiently long to get at throught the food but no so long as to not fit under the pot lids. We use this for both heating and reheating in 1- and 1.5-qt sausepans and it works as advertised. We also use it to heat precooked sliced brisket that we don't want to dry out. My order arrived on time as expected with Amazon Prime.
